Yassou Joerg, We are still dreaming of beautiful Santorini and our wonderful day touring the island with you. It was the highlight of our trip to Greece. I can almost feel the sun on my face as we walked the narrow streets of the quiet village, see the brilliant white houses draped in colorful bougainvillea, and taste the delicious tomato keftades at your favorite beach-side restaurant. We enjoyed the visit to Art Space Gallery and the private wine tasting. This week I opened Antonis' dessert wine and shared it with friends. I wish I had bought ten bottles instead of only five. Guess we will have to return for another tour and more bottles of wine. Also I owe you three euros for the candles at the church. Thank you for sharing the best of Santorini with us. Hi Joerg, I hope that all is well with you. It has been a couple of years since we met you in Santorini - the wine we brought back to Canada is all gone. We are left with only photos and memories of one of the most beautiful places in the world. I completely understand why you moved there and am jealous. When I meet people planning a trip to Greece, I always tell them that they have to go to Santorini, and must see the island with THIRAK-TOURS - You are the best. Best wishes for continued success. Hallo lieber Jörg, endlich haben wir es einmal geschafft uns dein Gästebuch anzuschauen und wollten nun auch mal etwas dazu sagen. Wir kennen dich noch als Münchner Moderator sowie als Freund und durften dich auch als Reisebegleiter erleben. Auch wir denken bis heute mit grosser Freude an unseren Besuch auf Santorini zurück. Obwohl es viel zu kurz war. Auch wir haben mit dir Dinge erlebt, die wir trotz griechischer Abstammung nicht ohne dir erlebt hätten. Das neugeborene Lämmchen der Nachbarn bekommt man als "normaler" Touri sicher nicht zu sehen. Du hast uns in so kurzer Zeit einen wunderbaren Gesamteindruck von der Insel die du so liebst vermittelt. Wir freuen uns darauf dich irgendwann wieder zu besuchen und dein Kinderprogramm (wir haben ja jetzt zwei) zu erleben. Auf jeden Fall sind wir sicher, dass jeder der zu dir fährt in guten Händen ist. Our tour with Joerg was more like spending a relaxing day cruising around with an interesting new friend who wanted to show us his favorite Santorini sites and less like a tour. Before we arrived, Joerg communicated with us frequently, and kindly accommodated our preferences when planning our tour. There was something for everyone in the family, including a joyful swim at a black-sand beach for the kids, an underground art gallery my husband loved, a wine-tasting experience that made my mother giggle and a peaceful moment at a historic church I still smile to remember. And yet our favorite parts were in between, talking with Joerg while looking out over the Santorini countryside and strolling in the narrow lanes of a village, and meeting his lovely, warm-spirited friends.

Hi Jorg,

We just wanted to thank-you for the personal attention you gave us on your tour of Santorini. Santorini was breathtaking, but you made it a wonderful experience for us and it was the highlight of our tour of Greece. We especially appreciated the trip to the art gallery, the private wine tasting and the great lunch on the beach.

To tourists considering a tour of Santorini, Jorg delivered on everything his website promised - a relaxed private tour where the big tour buses can't go. Jorg knows Santorini intimately and his style of presentation is more like that of an old friend showing you something he loves. And as a perfect host, he even called us the day after the tour just to see if our car was delivered to the hotel and if we enjoyed the sunset boat cruise he had recommended. Jorg genuinely cared and that's hard to find in a country that caters to thousands of tourists a day.

Jorg did a great job showing us the island. He met us at the dock and showed us Santorini as we would not have seen it from a cattle car bus tour. We went to a local winery, toured a small church, saw island artists, ate at a beach hangout and toured a small village with unique architecture. We were able to learn about the island and its people in a way that would not have been possible without Jorg's help. Jorg is obviously very popular and has a lot of friends. It couldn't have been better and was the highlight of our cruise vacation. We obviously would recommend his services.

Hi Joerg!!!

Imagine having the nicest, friendliest person, with a great sense of humor, greet you upon arrival to Santorini, ride up with us to the top of the island on a donkey (you have to experience the donkeys!) and spend the day showing you the wonders of the island!!! My family (a total of 7 of us) enjoyed our tour so very much. We discovered the beauty of the island and its people away from all the maddening "bus people" and mass tourism- How can you experience a unique place like Santorini by a tour bus?!!! Everyone on our cruise ship was so jealous when they heard details of our Santorini tour. The only way in our book is to see Santorini with Joerg. We laughed alot , ate a fabulous lunch at an oceanside cafe (the best and cheapest meal we ate our entire trip), sampled great wine, saw incredible scenery, met wonderful people, all at our own pace. I feel we made a lifelong friend and hope to reciprocate Joerg's kindness when he comes to the states!! Hello Jörg!

We had a blast!

We were treated like royalty and saw fabulous parts of Santorini that we would never have found on our own.

No cruiser could have found that little restaurant on the beach, or the winery/art gallery cut into the mountain, or the close ups of the pistachio and wine fields. They would never have been into the ancient church or found the best places to shop for the local goods - avoiding the REST of the tourists whenever possible!

We heard horror stories about the ship tours when we got back aboard, and were embarrassed to say how wonderful our day was with you. We did anyway, of course! Seriously, the ship's swim trip was almost tragic - too many people.

Your hospitalty was truly the best in our three country trip, and we look forward to catching up with you next time. Let us know when you hit the states, and we'll set you up!
